Jan C. Weilbacher
“Stories have the power to create something really great: they can inspire and encourage, touch people, and offer a glimpse of the future. All this is necessary in the event of imminent changes.”
Jan has a special role at HRpepper, or indeed two: On the one hand, he accompanies organisations in change processes, especially when they want to be more agile and collaborative. For this, he believes in the pioneering role of human resources management (AgileHR). On the other hand, he is responsible for communication at HRpepper. Jan believes in the power of stories. He uses his experience as a storyteller and communication professional, among other things, to support companies in employer branding, which is often the beginning of major cultural change.
Clear and appreciative communication
Jan brings in a systemic understanding of consulting and the conviction that good communication – both off- and online – is the answer to many challenges of organisations. Changes, effective cooperation, leadership: In Jan’s opinion, the basis for success is usually communication that is clear and appreciative and unites as many people as possible. Jan is a trained systemic organisational consultant and journalist. Prior to joining HRpepper, the trained business economist was editor-in-chief of the “magazine „Human Resources Manager” for seven years. He has also gained experience as manager at an internal communications agency. In 2017, his book “Human Collaboration Management – Human Resource Managers as Consultants and Designers in a Networked Work Environment” was published.
Jan is Pepper, book lover, and committed dad: As the father of three sons, he needs strong nerves. All three of them have a strong will – and a lot of humour.
